CDS Special Events Tickets and Information

During the year, the Chicago Dental Society provides for members only, the opportunity to obtain tickets to various special events. Tickets to Chicago theatre productions, the annual CDS Family Picnic, and Cubs and Sox baseball games among others are available. Dirty Dancing
Dirty Dancing - an instant hit when it was on the Big Screen 20 years ago - is now on stage! Dirty Dancing is the coming of age love story of headstrong dancer Johnny Castle and Frances "Baby" Houseman during her family's summer vacation at Kellerman's Resort. Baby, a doctor's daughter with dreams of joining the Peace Corps, meets Johnny, a resort employee from the wrong side of the tracks, and falls in love. The original story has been expanded for the stage, further developing their relationship through music and dance. CDS members are limited to four tickets each. Mary Poppins
Based on P.L. Travers' cherished stories and the classic 1964 Walt Disney film, Marry Poppins features the Academy Award-winning music and lyrics of Richard M. Sherman and Robert B. Sherman. The stage production has been created, in collaboration with Cameron Mackintosh, by Academy Award-winning screenwriter Julian Fellowes, who has written the book, and the Olivier Award-winning team of George Stiles and Anthony Drewe, who have composed new songs and additional music and lyrics.
