The CDS Review is published seven times a year. The magazine mails at the middle of the first month the issue covers. For example, the January/February mails January 15.

Advertisements purchased online will appear in the online classified advertising section 24 hours after the ad has been reviewed and approved by CDS and will be printed in the next available printed issue of the CDS Review. Payment for advertisement online includes a placement in both the Online Classified Advertising Section and in the next printed issue of the CDS Review.

Your ad will run online for 60 days from the date the ad is first placed online.

Deadlines

Example: Online advertising received on December 18 will appear online within 24 hours (no later than December 20) and will be printed in the March/April issue.

All advertisements, changes and extensions must be submitted in writing. No advertisements, changes or confirmations will be taken over the telephone. Although every effort is made to place advertisements received after the deadline in a specific issue, we cannot guarantee that late advertising will appear in the issue requested. The advertisement will appear in the following issue. Advance payment covering the number of insertions must accompany your written advertisement.

Rates

Display Classified: $100 per column inch (A minimum of 1 column inch will be charged. Sizes greater than 1 column inch will calculated to the nearest half-column inch.). When placing an advertisement online, you will be asked to choose from one of three templates. The size of your advertisement is automatically calculated for you.

Standard Classified: $85 for the first 30 words plus $2 for each additional word.

Member Discount: Members, you will automatically receive a 10% discount when you provide your CDS membership number as proof of current membership when placing your classified ad. Otherwise you will be charged the non-member rate.

Changes or Edits to Ads Currently Running: $10 per ad for any edit or change that an advertiser asks CDS to make prior to the ad's expiration.

Reply Box Numbers: For an additional $30, CDS will issue a box number for your ad. These numbers ensure the confidentiality of our advertisers. All unopened responses are mailed to the advertiser once a week.

Practices for Sale: Dental practices listed for sale within this section of the CDS Review are limited to practices that are being sold either by a dentist or a management company hired by the dentist to sell the practice. Advertisements from all others may not be placed in the CDS Review.

Discriminatory Advertisements: CDS will not accept ads that discriminate against any person's age, gender, race or sexual orientation. (An example would be an ad stating that a practice wishes to hire a dentist of a particular gender.)

Although CDS believes that advertisements published in the CDS Review are from reputable sources, it neither investigates the offers nor assumes responsibility for them. CDS reserves the right to decline, to accept and to withdraw advertisements at its discretion.
